make a function to trim it
easiest job!
|

hey gamzun
well, if the trim() function isnt removing em, how do i go about doing it.
one approach i could think was using the substring function. but the fields that are retrieved are of variable length, so that wont work.
could you advise, how should i go bout it.

hi kunal
bro just use replace function like this
string url = "wwww.cp.com/new%20folder/my%20another%20new%20folder/Default.aspx";
url = url.Replace("%20"," ");
in this way you'll get rid of these %20 n replace it with the whitespace or anything u want

You created two threads with the same question yesterday. I told you not to repost, and I told you that this is not an ASP.NET question.
I see that you also posted the question in the VB forum, so now you have reposted this question twice, posted three times in the wrong forum and also cross posted it. Are you deliberately trying to irritate people?

No, it's not. As Guffa said, you're not asking an ASP.NET question. Here's a hint, when I see people asking in the wrong forums, repeatedly, I tend to ignore their questions in the right forums.
I answered this question earlier today in the VB forum, was it for you ?

Hi!
No, its not mandatory to declare output parameter as int.
Plz provide the code which is generating the error. Its very difficult to help you without seeing the code.

No, it doesn't. It indicates that the query is not an update, an insert or a delete. Any errors are returned as exceptions.

The return value is the number of records affected, when the query is an update , an insert or a delete . For any other query the return value is -1.

Is there away you can expose .net methods to javascript without using atlas?
|
|
|
|
|
ATLAS is just a Microsoft library that wraps AJAX. you can write your own AJAX code, and you can point it to an ASPX, which will then run .NET code and return JSON or XML, or whatever you like.

What is your problem ? Everyone can see that you already asked this, and you asked it again well after I answered you. The original question is visible still, if someone else knows of a free component ( which is the only possible way my answer could be improved on ), then they will respond to the prior post. Although the odds of them doing so are probably reduced by how rude it makes you look to just post the same question again.

Of course it is.
1 - ASP.NET is not a language, it's a framework for generating html. You mean you want to do this in VB.NET or C#.
2 - you can't, not without writing a class to do it, or buying a commercial component that does it. Or perhaps looking for a free one.
Please don't ask me where to find a free one, the fact that I said perhaps, means I don't know of one.
