I am doing a crm project,i.e, Customer Relationship Management.
the first module i am doing is called url filteration. In this i have a database which has the fields name, emailid, designation, line of business, company, city, country which has around 80,000 entries and gets updated daily.this database i have considered as one table . I have another table which has only email-ids which called exclusion list which is in 3 formats i.e,1.) only extensions(eg..gov,.edu etc) 2.) emailid (eg. name@company.com), 3.)company websites (eg. ti.com etc), even this table keeps on updating daily. What my application should do is it should compare the email-id in the exclusion list table with the first table and should delete those entries which match in the table which consists of 80,000 entries which is the master table. The front end is ASP.Net and backend is ADO.Net. The database i am using is MS Access. I wanted a code for the ui design and also for the implementation of this module, ie, database connection etc. I have another module with this which i will tell later. Please help me.

I must be mistaken, it looks to me like you are asking for the code to handle this task. What is it you were really asking for ?

You can want what you like. However that doesn't mean you're going to get it.

Not really. I mean, what you're asking for seems like trivial SQL, but it's also SQL that I can't write without knowing how your tables are set up. Where are you stuck ?

Hi,
convert into string and remove last 3 characters.
str = str.Remove(str.Length-3, 3);
Thanks,
Sun Rays
To get something you must have to try once.

You have an amazing ability to come up with really bad ways of achieving the requested goals!

Try,
Format (dbprice, "##,###,###")
|
|
|
|
|
Thats the right solution!
But you might want to make that:
String.Format(dbprice,"##,###,###")
|
|
|
|
|
Even,
Format(dbprice,"##,###,###")
would work

Not in C# it wont. Thats a VB6 throwback.

thanks all
but the price depend on product
so if my product have price = 3200000 -> 3,200,000
or price = 300000 - > 300,000 ect..
Because i dont so 3 charater end ex(3,200,000.00 -> 3,200,000)
if i use Format (dbprice, "##,###,###") I think it not okay

you think wrong.
the '#' char means 'if there is a character there'

Hi Friends..
I am having a website developed in ASP.NET.I need my website not to be made "save as" by any user who views my website.I also need to disallow my user from viewing the source of my application by selecting view--source..The primary objective of mine is to protect my source by means of this..Moreover i need not want to block the enire toolbar itself..rather i need to block two submenus in the tool bar i,e save as and view source.
Someone help in this regard as early as possible..

Source means your .NET Code or HTML? If .NET code, there no need to worry, your code will not be visible since everything will be rendered into HTML.
Actually you cannot disble the IE's menu item at any cost since ASP.NET application has nothing to do with Client Side.
But your can disable the Context Menu (Right-Click Menu) of your browser by capturing the Mouse Events of the Page
