Ajax is not working?
Can u please tell, Exactly what happens!!!
Now,
Two questions...
1.Where u have take the reference for JS and CSS? Is JS in separate(.js) file?
2.have you used master page in that page?
If u have not use masterpage then u can use masterpage instead Usercontrol,
It will be best if u use Masterpage.
reply fast.

SqlDataAdapter adapter = new SqlDataAdapter(cmd, sqlConn);

if (SearchBooks.Tables.Count > 0)
{
foreach (DataRow row in SearchBooks.Tables[0].Rows)
{
TreeNode newNode = new TreeNode(row["Title"].ToString() , row["ISBN"].ToString());
newNode.PopulateOnDemand = true;
newNode.ImageUrl= row["ImagePath"].ToString();
newNode.NavigateUrl = row["ImagePath"].ToString();
newNode.SelectAction = TreeNodeSelectAction.Expand;
node.ChildNodes.Add(newNode);

What do you mean by 'ajax based', why does your help message need to make an asyncronous call, just to get the help text as needed ?
We can't possibly help you without seeing the code you're using.

Seriously, all these questions are easily answered by google, and if you don't know the answers to any of the questions you asked, you can't possibly be using ASP.NET. Buy a book, learn to use google, ask when you're at a base level of being able to understand the replies.

Please stop spamming the boards. IF you have this many questions, buy a book. IT's plain you are starting out, do yourself a favour and learn some stuff before asking all these things online.
You can't, best you can do is inject javascript to run the code. For you to even ask this shows you have no idea how ASP.NET works. Buy a beginner book, and read it.

I am using login and loginstatus controls in my application.
When I logged In It change the login status control text to logout which is fine but when I click the logout button it does not take me to the login page again.And how I can stop user to go back by clicking back button in the browser once he is logged off.
How I can store login username in session variable by using login control?
THanks In advance

To prevent the user from using the back button and gaining access after logoff you need to add checks to each page that verify the user has logged in, if not redirect them to the login page.
After the user has logged in you can get the username from the security principal, like WindowsIdentity.Name
only two letters away from being an asset

You want to check if the user used copy/paste ? You really can't tell, the best you can do is stop copy/paste from working ( I didn't think it did with a password box ).

No, but you can only run one version of ASP.NET at a time. The easy thing to do is have shortcuts to both copies of aspnet_regiis on your desktop so you can swap between them, or I think some later versions of IIS let you choose the .NET version directly.

Hi
HMagesh wrote: if i install vs2005, it will corrupt my vs2003?,
The Answer is No.
There won't be any problem. Just go through the installation.
And after installation u have to set per project settings for framework.
The project that are build with 2005 has to set framework 2.0 in IIS.
The same for 2003 to go for Framework 1.1 In iis.
Don't forget to install Framework 2.0 first before installing Visual Studio 2005.
Just try and find any problem then post here.

hi HMagesh,
I also faced similar situation. Now i have both vs2003 and vs2005 along with SQL server 2005 in my PC. There is no problem at all at the installation time.
There is no conflict between two versions of VS. Trust me, i am using both.
Hope you work been done.
