I had a similar problem in past Satty. What i figured out was that there was some sort of configuration problem on the server. When i uploaded the same thing on another server it worked fine. So, i would recommend that you upload it on some other server.

I think because the code has already executed on the page then when you click back you are seeing the result of that
Basically you would need to reset the page

use javascript to refresh the page if possible

Not good practice
Could you post the code. The problem is in your code you are using un assign object thats why it is giving this error
OR you can debug your application and check where it is giving error
Thanks and Regards

please state clearly the problem.
looks like there may be some missing attribute i.e. in case one just copy and then paste that control(HTML code) into content page.

i think there is some problem with script manager. on standalone page there may be script manager already on the page but in content pge you need to drop it separately... (only guessing..)

Have you added ScriptManager to your page?

man
nothing comes free as it is.
just download the trail version.
create a menu of your choice.
then replace the javascript code for the "trial version" tag

I have a problem with postbacks and master pages.
I have a website project I’ve quickly put together to test this in Visual Studio 2005 (asp.net & c#). On the master page, there are two ContentPlaceholders.
In one of the web pages called search.aspx (which uses the master page), I have a ASP.Net WebControl Button in the second ContentPlaceHolder that I simply want to use to generate a postback.
However, when I try the button in the browser, nothing happens! There is just no postback!
I am using Internet Explorer 7; it seems to work okay in Firefox. But it needs to work in IE7 for what I am doing.
Can anyone help with this, as it’s critical to the actual project?
Thanks in advance.

have you done a debug of your code?
and 'seems to wortk' does that mean it works or it works sometimes (ie after a pages refresh or so) ?

i have some heading along with my gridview data, which i am exporting to excel.
both are being exported to excel successfully , except the text exporting(heading) problem , it is lying in the first line in first cell in excel file , can i merge that line and align the text to center, programatically

Which method do you use to create the excel file?
You rewrite the HTML page with of do you use the COM Interop?
ANyway: you can change layout for the gridview in the RowDataBound Eventhandler

What is the problem you are facing ? Take a look at URLRewriter.NET[^], it's a powerful URL rewriting library.

Its working fine, only for URLs with .ASPX extensions.
Like following url is working fine
www.domain-name.com/category/index.aspx
BUT url without .aspx extension like
www.domain-name.com/category/ gives "File not found" Error. As ASP.net only handles pages with extension .aspx.........!
|
|
|
|
|
You may want to add index.aspx in IIS's default documents list....
