i want to use a function to select second 100 rows or third 150 rows. anyone know about it and can help me.
i have 500 records and i want select records numbers between 300 and 400 how doing it??

just write a sql statement using the between function
select * from table where field between 300 AND 400
|

select * from myTable where colname <= 400 and colname >= 300 order by colname
this code will return 100 rows which values of colname are between 300 and 400.

Try this:
select * from (
select
(select count(*) from action t2 where t2.action_when <= t1.action_when) as RowIndex,
t1.*
from
action t1) t3
where
RowIndex between 10 and 20
substitute your own table and column names as appropriate.
If you are using SQL 2005 you can use rank() over. I'll leave you to look that up as required.

I have the following code:

How can I set the cssclass through the above code? I know how to set indivdual factors such as background but how do I set the entire class?

you will probably need a bespoke asp.net graph program, there are plenty out there

You could set up session values and do it that way or pass them through the URL

If the HTML page does a POST, I think you can read those values in your code behind. You can't put stuff in the session in a HTML page, that was just wrong. You CAN form a URL that means you pass parameters as querystring parameters, tho.

Can't be done. The only thing you can print in a website, is the entire window.

Hi..
I am making a website using asp.net 2.0. I am using validators like required field validator & regular expression validator. Everything works fine on my local pc. But when i upload it on remote server, validators works fine but gives error "event is null or not an object" when i click on any linkbutton, on all pages where i have used validators with gridview.
I tried removing validators & in dat case everything wrks fine. I also tried uploading folder aspnet_client/system_web/2_0_50727 on remote server. But still it gives same error. Can someone give me some solution. Its very urgent please....

my database is sql and it's work as good on local mode , but after copy web site , an error with web.config ,, sure it's is the connection string ,
I ask if I must change the connection string or not ,,,
when I take a domain on details I see :
MSSQL mssql136.win-servers.com
what is the new connection string to be right ..

It depends. If your old SQL Server is on your local network, and your web server cannot see it, then you need to deploy to a SQL Server that the web server can see. If the server is on your network, and the SQL Server was not the local machine, it should just work.
