not to me. The first rule of getting decent help is not to use this word.

If you read the error message, it is telling you a wealth of information. Here is the deal chap! In your dev environment you used Framework 3.5, where as in the machine you deploy it, it did not find 3.5, either you need to install 3.5 in the deployed machine, or you need to remove your dependency to 3.5
Visual studio is notorious for adding references you don't need. If you not using any 3.5 specially, you should be able to remove it from your web.config.
p.s. If you not familiar with web.config, make sure to keep a copy before your start changing it
Good Luck, do it quickly, IT IS URGENT

Oh didn't you notice, analogous to square roots, they recently introduced rectangular, circular, and diamond roots to determine the size of the corresponding shapes when given the area. Luc Pattyn[^]

I want to build a windows application that can send sms to the mobile. The message has to be fetched from a table of Sql server 2005 database. The sms should be sent in 2 ways-
1) Through sms gateway
2) Through H/W (modem,GSM etc.)
Please send me code for sending sms in C#.Net in both the above mentioned ways. Thanks in advance.

Enough already. This gets asked at least twice a day. Learn to use google. Learn to search this site for articles. Learn to do something for yourself.

this question has been asked many times before also.
For sending sms u need to buy an account from any content provider.
They will give u link or api and u have to pass ur sms to the provider then they will forward it to the destination number specified by u.
There is no direct method to send sms.

Just go to this link

I used a grid view with paging option. If i switch to various pages, the height and width of the Grid view changed according to the datas. Is there is any way to display a constant Grid?

You could use CSS to specify a size.

I would like to know how to use a Borland C++ dll in a ASP.NET project....
It would also be helpful if i could know how to add this dll in the website cache...
Thanks in advance

How it was written is irrelevant. You can use p/invoke to call your DLL in your C# project.

yes i did use p/invoke but i need to add the reference of the dll in the project which is not possible the normal way i.e through Add reference in the solution explorer.
But wen i manually copy-paste it into the website cache(run->%windir%\Microsoft.Net\Framework), it works.
I want to avoid this manual copy-paste and want to map this dll into the project.

It isn't. ADO.NET is the component of the .NET framework responsible for database interaction.

Why would you ask such a thing ? If you're incapable of buying a book, or using google, why would you be capable of understanding the answer ? Assuming someone was willing to take the time to write a detailed article, in the form of a forum reply, when this site has articles explaining this, already.

Hi,
I am importing records from csv file. It contains 3-4 columns but that are not fixed.
and there is no header for the column. I am sending sms through csv file. Now I am reading it from csv file and inserting it into the database and after then fetching each row from the database and fire the sms on a given number. So it takes time to execute when there are more than 1000 records.
User can write mob no any where in the column. There are 10 fixed column so that user can send sms with name or price with mob no.
Should I go with the windows service or webservice. I want fast processing.
Thanks

Neither of those options will affect how fast you can process a line of data in a CSV file. They only affect how the applications runs.
A windows service can run constantly while windows is running.
A webservice runs inside IIS and runs only when it receives a request. IIS can, and will, shut down the service if it has not received any requests for a while.
