If I was ever to open a contracting business, my website would contain threads like this one, to show people who outsource overseas, what they get for their money. You've been programming for two months ? You should be in a class, or reading a book and doing basic exercises, not trying to get people on a programming forum to do your job for you.

We've told you. So, go and do it. Learn C++, learn how to write an OCX ( which means learning COM ), buy or write a TWAIN library, then put it all together to create an OCX that interacts with a scanner and sends the resultant image to the server. I think that would take me a month, given that I've not done C++ for some time. I'd guess you may be able to do it in perhaps a year, if you work hard and if you have more aptitude than you've shown in this thread.

Hmm, well I took your code, made a slight modification to it (nothing major, just a line or two), ran it on my server with a scanner and it appears to work just fine.
Now, it didn't take me 4 weeks, but I also charge $500@hour, plus expenses (new server in case mine crashed, new scanner, laptop for remote wireless testing...).
Anyway, I'll be happy to send you the code...$12,875.29 total. I require 100% deposit prior.

I am doing a web application for a garment factory... My client wants save his orders like this,
1.He will select an individual design and orders the number he wants and then he selects another design and then he will do the same...
2.Atlast he wants to view all the design and orders in a single page and then save the entire thing...

I think you need to tell your client that they need to have a better grip on the development process if they want to try to guide an inexperienced person in the third world to write them a cut price website.

Sorry, we don't read peoples minds. You need to define not working. Do you get error messages? did you try debugging it using FF/FireBug or IE/DevToolBar.

Hi friends.
I am facing a problem regarding security or IIS setting to convert web page to PDF file. I am using winnovative HTML to PDF conversation dll. In my local machine its working fine. But it is not working on the server.
My server configuration :
OS : Windows server 2008
IIS version : 7.0
I am testing with sample page. If I give another site url to convert into PDF file then its working but when I give server url when my application hosted then its not working. If I give my server url and press to convert button then worker process consumes high CUP and when I recycle worker process then its generates PDF file. I have set all permission that application needed.I couldn't find any problem or error.
Can anyone help me regarding this problem?

Do you want a video thumbnail, or an image ? I assume the latter. There's plenty of examples online for generating a thumbnail from a video. Just generate an image, store it, and show it on your page.

here i need video thumbnail.
Actually there are various tool available to generate thumbnail of any video. But I want to generate it dynamically. Means if I will upload any video on my application, its automatically generate its thumbnail.
Is this is possible?
