java web application

i am a .Net asp web application developer using web form method (i don't use MVC)

i want to start create web application using java

i found jsp web application but it only accept html component like classic asp

but i want to add buttons with java code in behind as i do when add asp button in web form asp and write c# or vb code behind it

how can i do this in java? is there any project type that make me do this?

Solution 1

Try Google Web Toolkit[^].

It has a Java to JSP Compiler under the hood - so it's pretty easy to use.
