Yes I did it, but there's no program using vb.net
I don't understand about another programming language

I have a fairly good idea: give up. The problem is not so simple, this is not for people for such attitude like yours, it really needs the attitude of a winner.
The whole idea of asking about "the first step" is way to weak to waste time. It does not matter what the first step is. Well, I'll say: read on the topic; and then you will become concerned about the second step. It goes nowhere.

I can rather tell you all steps: give yourself a good deal of work. And more work. And more. And so on.
