insert textbox value into .txt file using javascript

Hi All,

i need help, for insert textbox value into .txt file using javascript.

i have created one webpage, in which fields like username, email and phone number. then when user click on the submit button. these fields should be save into userinfo.txt or userinfo.xml file. only javascript code don't use any other server side code.

I need javascript code. please any one help me...

Solution 2

Actually this is not advisable to perform any IO operations on client machine. For writing any file you need to use ActiveX object which normally users don’t allow on their machines.
