How Do I Make A Production Key To My Own Made Program?

Hello, im new to programming, and i know a bit about it.
Currently im trying to make a program, but before you can open the program you need to type a production key. Is there anyway to do this?

I searched alot on google, and found nothing that could help me..

I think you should first finish your work on the program and after that you can bother about copy protection ;)
