gridview height,paging problem

hi everyone,

I'm using gridview to display data in well manner..its working perfectly in functionality..But the problem is i want to fix the height of gridview which will independent of no of records or no records...footer of grid should occur on same place evry tim.

and if there are only 2 records and page size is 10 then it shud not to cover whole spce .row height should be same in evry case.....
if there are onley 2 records still its showing page 1 on footer how to hide that.it shud not display page 1 when ter is only 1 page.

You can apply the height in code behind based on your conditions.
