The possibility is that the user clicks on button twice before the data is inserted ...if that is the case you can disable the button temporarily until the data is inserted successfully.

or before inserting the data u can check weather a particular entry is present through coding n stop the duplication.

I didn't understand your question well, what do you mean by duplicate data?
Is same record inserting twice? Then you have to check your code why its happening. I would suggest you to debug your code and see where the problem is.
