Hi everybody :)

I've installed SQL Server 2008 On PC with Windows 7 ... and Attach mine databases files ....
and set the inbound and outbound from the firewall settings .... and enable the TCP and set the ports settings from Sql configuration manager ... and add the "Everyone" to the security logins
................
Everything is ok and other devices can connect to the databases over the LAN network normally
Just one device (Laptop) can see the server name but can't see the databases which attached...

When I'm tired of trying to fix this error ... i format this laptop and reinstall windows 7 and still can't access the databases :(
i tried to add a specific login from the sql management studio and it doesn't work :( ...
when i press "Test Connection" (From visual studio) i get a message says: "The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication"

can you expect the reason of this problem ???

thanks a lot for helping me :)

if your Sql Server install with the Windows Based security then you just type .{dot}. Your Sql server will be allow means login success. if you sql Authentication both type windows and User Base then you try to UserName and Password. I have understand bit problem plz share your error with picture for better can understanding .
