Error code 500 means - The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.. Error could be anything.

Solution is for time being set customErrors[^] in youe webconfig to Off. This will display the detailed error on your browser.
Alternatively, check your error logs and Event Viewer if there are any errors logged. Fix tem and your website should be running fine!
