Wireless barcode scanner Programming

Hello

I am looking for help to develop software for symbol MC3000 scanner to read barcode and update data on to laptop accordingely.

I am not sure where to start from. I dont know how to communicate between barcode scanner and laptop.

Please help.

Normally you'd get a standard "RTFM" response, but since you used the word "please" instead of "plz.........plz.......plz.........." I'm willing to exert a little more effort.

Motorola's site (link[^]) has some basic product documentation and brochures (at the bottom see the "Resources" and "Support" tabs. One of the links on the "Resources" tab takes you here[^] which has a document that looks promising: Chapter 4 in the doc titled "MC3000 Integrator Guide" looks like it has everything you need.
