AFAIR, when you install VS, you get an option to select the languages you want to work on in VS. Thus, it should be possible.

I think there was no such option in VS 2012,that why i am asking.

Not sure. I remember selecting for my install. Was there any 'custom' option? Default(recommended) might not ask.

Further, if its a space issue, as already pointed you can go for specific language based Express editions of VS.

I think you are right. At least I was able to remove VB.NET from all versions I ever tried, so C++ could also be removed. It happens in the very beginning, when options for installation are selected. I always use custom, where all languages are optional.
My 5.

I don't think there is a custom install option in Visual Studio 2012. I think you have to install the entire package. I recommend the Express editions if you are only allowed a certain amount of space and only use one language. I don't like it that VS2012 doesn't have a custom option.
