How to use team founation server

i have visual studio 2010, i want to use team foundation server, but iam enable to use it, there was problem in creating vPN connection with my partener's computer, now we are using Hamachi server for maiking tunnel. Team->connect to team foundation server->add server-> now from where i will get the name of the server,
Plz help .

Can u plz tell me one more thing,i have visual studio 2010, it has option of TFS, does i need to download and install TFS separately.

You need to have TFS client to be installed on system to connect to TFS server.
