Cross-application state management

Hi Friends,

Please suggests a better way to use the Cross-application state management in ASP.Net(MVC3).

I mean to retain the state into the applications.

Cookie is the best option for cross-application.

According to state managment theory there are two types if state managment techniques
1. Client side
2. Server side

If you want to transfer values accross applications then use Cookies or Database. where as Database is more secure than cookies.
