how to provide my own membership db to login control in asp.net

i am building a website.. for login page if i use the login control in toolbox.. and using asp.net website administration tool to define membership and roles.. how can i use my own database (membership database) instead of the default one?? please help!!!

Without knowing your specific requirements how could anyone possibly answer that? I any case, what research have you done? What have you already tried for yourself?
