pass values from one user control selected index change event to another user control from database(server side)

I have ParentPage which contains 2 user controls and i have user dropdown on each control. whenever i change the selected index of one dropdown user control ..then second user control drop dwon list should fill according to the selected value of usercontrol drop down of first....dropdown must be fill from database not client side ... how to pass the values to different usercontrol at same time .. !!!!!
