adding app config file to DAL clas library project

how do I add a config file to my DAL class library to use for my custom provider configuration... no option in add new item.

Solution 1

The config file is usually added in the client project, in this case you do Add new item, => Configuration file

Thankyou so much, I feel like a bit of an idiot, didnt think for a second it wouldve been listed under its full name, kept looking round for app config file and totally missed application configuration file
