Can Html5 use Java classes?

I'm a fresh man and after googling I can't find a way to write java code or use java classes in Html5.
I've written a java class for database connection, CAN I USE IT IN HTML5 TO READ DATA FROM MYSQL??
Or I can only use javascript in html5?
I really need your help......THX

No - if you want to use Java classes to connect to a MySQL server you will have to run it on the web server or in a Java applet.
