How to fill dropdownlist in datalist onselectedindexchange of another dropdownlist?

I have a datalist with some rows each row contains two dropdownlist 1. Diagnostic type 2. Diagnostic Namenames . Type dropdownlist is filled with Type. Now on changing the subject i have to get name that type from database and bind to the chapter drst How to do pls help me. Thanks.

Solution 1

Based on the type dropdown selected value hit the db and populate the Diagnostic names dropdown onselectedindexchanged event of Type dropdown list.
