Resources Issue in Windows Forms

Hello,

Is there a possibility to keep all resource files at one location say inside folder "AllResources" , In case I have more than 30 projects and each with 5 forms at least.

Also each form should be able to access resource files from that folder only.

And whenever modifying any resource file of any form, It get modified inside that folder automatically.

Any kind of help will be appreciated.

Solution 1

Add a new resource file to your project, create your images, and for each one, set the Copy To Output Directory property to Copy If Newer.

That way, if you change any of your images after running the application the first time, your changed images will remain.

But In this case I have to keep one .resx file in both location. If I am deleting a file which is under its code file, automatically file is getting deleted from bin\Debug.
