I want to learn xml with C#. Could you please recommend me some link for that.

i would like to read xml files. the files will contain different signals. every signal has different properties e.g sampling period, length of the data, some meta data etc. i would like to work with C#.

Yes I know google has the problem of every solution... I tried to learn xml myself by searching in the google. but it was difficult for me to grasp it. like schema, DOM etc. That's why I thought some experienced guy could recommend me some easy to understand link.

First of all separate things. an XML file is only text.
So it is:
-Learn XML file format.
-Learn to read/write text file with any programming language you want.

You should say "why" you want to learn XML.

Makes it easier to direct your attention to what is more important given the situation.

Solution 1

1. Get the book XML for Dummies. It goes through all the parts and explains them with lots of examples.
2. Find Microsoft's 101 Linq Samples and download it. It has many examples how to use xml in there.
