I have created the WPF application which will run while starting the windows. It works well for windows 7 but now with the windows 10. I don't know why.

Can anyone help on this?

What I have tried:

1. I have copied the app's shortcut and placed it in the path "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp". But it is not working

2. I have tried to launch the machine as Administrator. But no luck.

3. But, Strangely, I don't see any of the short cut in startup menu in Win 7 but it is working fine.

The startup folder in win10 is at a different location. This page explains how to find it.

Instructions from Microslop. Google is your friend.

BTW, your questions absolutely NOTHING to do with C# or WPF.

I have tried all the methods stated above. But no luck.
I just need to clear one thing here... Windows starts all the application when the short cut of that application is copied in the startup folder. For this activity do we need to handle anything in the code?
