If you can't even come up with something for your own final year project, you don't have deserved to graduate and you won't have a chance in later working live. Maybe you simply where not made for graduating.

Could try some of the projects from the Google summer of Code. (I know it says summer of code but I believe you can pick them up any time). The sharp develop team has a few ideas on their wiki page.

About your project, well, actually it depends on your knowledge and skill level.
You can try making a SODUKU application of your own.

You can try to make a game using XNA framework.
It's pretty easy and a lot of tutorials and information are available on the web. It will not take very much time to learn the framework basics but some experience in graphic design would become useful (but not really a need either, you still have the internet!).

Seems a worthwhile project, and should garner points even if you fail to make it work properly.
