Create a chat application in MVC 4 and Azure Database

Now to the topic you ask about, this has to be one of top 5 assignments in college today. I literally see this question multiple times a week. There are thousands of examples of MVC based chat application a quick Google search of "aspnet mvc chat application" resulted in 835,000 results. That should be your starting point. As for the Azure SQL DB component there is nothing special about working with Azure SQL. In your case it would be just like working with a local or on-site SQL install.
