I have seen both today, the correct and the buggy behaviour mixing randomally, is there different deploys?
I want to think it is solved and that I have just been hit by a small cache lag

This forum supposedly has a new message today, but I didn't notice one after advancing through several pages. Is there any way to find a post based on when it was created, even if it's a reply (which this one presumably is) to something posted months ago?

I can: I went to your homepage by licking your username in the above post, then selected "Articles" for the list on the right hand side. This brought up the list of all your articles: https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/User-287819#Article[^] and a simple scroll and click took me to it: Windows Search ASP.NET[^]
So what did I do that was different to you?

π! No, not as in the CP euphemism. As in, "An π never forgets." 
If you delete an image, and then upload a new one with the same filename, you can't use the new image because the editor keeps using the old one! I thought I must be doing something wrong but eventually decided that I wasn't the insane one! Doing a "Save" between deleting and uploading doesn't get around it either.
EDIT: Clearing your browser's cache, as suggested by phil.o, seems to fix this.

It could be a caching issue. Did you try to flush your browser's cache?
