The only way I can replicate the non-inlinkerate working is if I prefix the URL by non-URL stuff.
eg pasting "www.codeproject.com" works. Pasting "The link is www.codeproject.com" doesn't (and this is a known limitation).

Weird
I just copy/paste the link straight out of the URL bar.
It's not that big of a annoyance (at least not to me) so don't lose any sleep over it

Hey, I had the same problem with Web19!
I tried the same link with Web23 - and it worked fine.
BTW: Using the latest version of Chrome.

Just noticed that an answer in Q&A doesn't add to the messages posted total.

Date filter back on
We've found an issue that has been causing slowness in the forums and for now we've disabled the data filter at the top of the forums in order to remove excess load while we fix the problem.
The filter drop down is there, but it simply won't do anything.

So far today, I haven't been able to view the lounge if I click the Lounge link. If I follow any links to messages in the lounge, it loads - it's only when I click the Lounge link or the pagers inside it that I can't get any details. This suggests that the message "-- Unable to load messages due to high load. Please try again --" is actually a limping pile of crodspittle.

I'm having the same issue here.
That's called seagull management (or sometimes pigeon management)... Fly in, flap your arms and squawk a lot, crap all over everything and fly out again... by _Damian S_

Same here, but I was able to get in by changing the date filter to "Last Week". I can't reply to anything, though.

Lounge overload error has gone away for now but the performance is bad! Page takes sometime to load!  ...

This member[^] is posting question and then replying himself... Earlier two occasions did look like a try to post Tip/Trick... but the latest one [^]is total junk!
Any proper way to inform user or remind him of what is he doing. Might be trying to post Tip/Trick... if so he needs a proper direction... elsewise... might be a kick!

I already reported it yesterday. But deleted the message after a few hours as I didn't receive any response. Anyways we have informed the guy what he is doing is not correct through the messages in his questions.
