I received a notice about this[^] post despite it being made in response to a post by Dalek Dave.
Never mind, the author delete/reposted it between my getting the email and visiting the page.

Is there a reason that all posts have disappeared from the Soap Box 1.0 group? I would restart it with an "Ahhhh clean sheets!" post, but worry that I might interrupt some special maintenance activity. Did someone in the group post something particularly egregious, or is the current limbo state an accident?

It was my fault and it was an accident - instead of loading the posts it loaded a button that said 'Create your Blog!' and I accidentally pressed it while playing Minesweeper. It then said that it had done it successfully and then all the posts were gone...

So you really weren't kidding with your Lounge post. In any case that sounds like a bug for several reasons - I would have expected it would require a group manager to initially create the blog, and wouldn't have expected creation of the blog to be available once there was one (aren't the posts themselves the "blog"?), or at least that it not remove all current posts without requiring confirmation...

No, I was being serious, it was all my stupid fault. It really does seem like a bug, but I don't know why it only does it sometimes - does it ever show that button for you?

Presumably, the site has backups. Presumably someone on staff will do something about this, soon. 'Twould be nice if they then went on to fix the bug, as well.

Hi,
My article (WCF: Duplex MSMQ[^]) doesn't appear on the front page, even though I have good rating (Latest best picks).
Is it a bug or I need to do something, or my article is not well enough ?

Your article's rating is 4.52. The articles on the homepage have ratings 4.65 and above, so your article misses out by a whisker.

Nicolas is talking about the Latest Best Picks box. As far as I can tell, rating is what matters there. It's sorted by rating. For example, an article with a single rating of 5 will appear before an article with a lower rating regardless of popularity.
Nicolas' article should appear there. It was posted on 30 August 2009. It has a rating of 4.93, a popularity of 5.32, and 12 votes.
The article was moved by an editor shortly after publishing.

When I'm on web12 I don't get the list only the last item is shown 'All message boards...' when going over the menu item.
Only seems to happen on web12
I'm using chrome. (if that helps )
