I have posted my last article on 14th and it showing 8 different version just after publishing the article first time. I always checked the "work in progress" chekbox before submitting the article. When I think it ready to release, I just unchecked the Work in Progress chekbox and do the final submission. Now my question is that, why all those previous changes are track as Version and Article showing as Update Status? After Published the article first time (without checking "Work in Progress" CheckBox) the Article Version should be 1 and the consequent update will increase the article version. Please give your input.
