Is there any chance of making the "Book Reviews" link on the in the navigation sidebar a bit more prominent?

It's hard to get the balance right: one person wants book reviews more promintant; the next wants Vista highlighted. The third wants hardware to get the limelight.
We are reorganising things and are in the final stages of a rewrite that will improve search results. Hopefully these two things combined will help solve the issues

How about having a Microsoft Expression (Blend/Web/Design) forum under Vista->WPF as Expression Blend (which i am trying out) appears to be not that intutive as claimed (atleast for me).

How about CodeProject bringing in an 'on-the-fly' spell checker for forum posting, article posting textareas. A quick webservice can do this trick. I accept that Mozilla FireFox has builtin spell checker but IE does not have a freeware.
But the limitations of such a spellchecker at least for CodeProject is that program/code/markup would get unnecessarily underlined as a typo. So a good deal of customization or 'living-with-it' might be required.

There are plenty. Heck, last i checked, the Google Toolbar offered a spell-checker for IE, as well as a proper search.

Unfortunately helping people to spell better isn't something I'm willing to devote a lot of resources to. There are plenty of solutions already for those that wish to improve their online postings.

This permalink (http://www.codeproject.com/script/comments/forums.asp?msg=2095672&forumid=1645#xx2095672xx[^]) seems to be promising though with the link the initiative should be from the user instead of CP placing and underline or emphasis on good grammar.
But at least for article postings, I would say, this can be emphasized. I admit that there is a Editor Review for the article but till that phase, the items submitted through 'Article Submission Wizard' are public right?

Solution - use FireFox. No reason to burden the site with yet more behind-the-scenes processing. It's hard enough just to get the site respond sometimes.

One thing that I think would be very useful to have would be an API(Library) section where we can go to look for API's, and anyone can Add any API's that they have found to it.
Of course to start this people will have to add API's to it, but it would be a very useful thing to have.

Just an idea here, but with Code-frogs heart rending plight, how about the monthly competition being amended for one month. If people could sell something on eBay and then pass the proceeds onto Rex, the prizes could be donated to the people who raised the most money in that period. Note that it would probably be best if the prizes were awarded anonymously to prevent any embarassment for people.
Any takers?
