yes (just tested it in Firefox). fwiw, I normally run with thread view. In a brief flash of intelligence, I changed the layout to normal, and the page no longer navigates to the top. Setting it back to thread view restores the "go to top" behavior.
hope this helps.

The menu items for Insider News and Soapbox aren't links, and I have to use the Discussions | All Message Boards... to get to them. It happens in Chrome, Firefox and Edge on both Windows and Linux. There doesn't seem to be any pattern indicating when it's going to happen.

We have a piece of code that loads up the location of a bunch of forums dynamically, both from the local and distributed cache with a fallback to the database. As an absolute the-world-has-ended solution with lots of warning signs over it, the IDs are hardcoded in a piece of code that should only be called in dire situations. So: there's no way what you are seeing could possibly ever happen.
It's on our list for today or tomorrow. I'm looking forward with a sense of dread to find out what's actually, really, despite-our-best-intentions, going on.
cheers

today, it's fine, but more info (and again, I wasn't really paying that close of attention), after using the discussions menu item to get to the desired forums, both of the cited menu items became clickable.
Could this have something to do with the sometimes disappearing insider news and soapbox menu items that was happening for a while?

I got the same on a regular basis.
In Community menu, the The Insider News work the vast majority of time, but sometimes, there is no link, and even fewer times, the menu line is just not there.
I have never paid attention to other possible missing entries.
My work around is to go in a forum an use the entry on the forum list on left.

Is it still happening? We added even more duct tape and even some old coat hanger wire. If that doesn’t fix it nothing will.

Several RSS Feeds give you this message:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
I would like to subscribe to the Windows and/or Windows Development FEED but they seem to be inactive.

Browsers, by default, do not format the xml from an RSS feed. For that you need either a browser add-in or a dedicated RSS feed application.
The content looks fine, and displays formatted in my Chrome as I have an RSS feed extension installed, at least fro the Windows Development forum.

I have not received any email messages from CodeProject since 04:35 yesterday. I know there should be some as I have seen replies to forum messages. I also know my email system is working as I am getting messages from elsewhere. Any ideas?
[edit]
I just received a reply to a QA entry so something is working. No idea what happened to yesterday's messages.
[/edit]
[edit]
It seems to have resolved itself, although a number of previous messages were never received.

Hi I tried to ask a question and I am getting an internal error?
Is it a bug?
|
|
|
|
|
Which error? Which browser?
Have you got it once or have you tried it several times waiting a bit between the tries?

It is possible your question was caught by the spam analyser and needed a moderator to release it.

Shouldn't there be a "Projects" link as well?

The spam events graph looks a bit odd today.

No, but they have switched to a three year old graphing package to do them.
Literally; it's a three year old doing them now.

It's our interpretive impression of the underlying psychological impulses of the spammers superimposed on the discord in the minds of those targeted by the spammers, and reflects the underlying need of the spammers to be understood and rejected while practicing an ultimately self-defeating and alienating ritual whithin whose confines they are perpetually locked.
We call it "madness". We're quite fond of it, really.

So if I combine yours and Chris's answers I realize you've been encountering an artsy, possibly high, Doctor.
