In the second paragraph of the "Send Email Confirmation ..." page, there is the below sentence:
If you have previously confirmed your email address, but have changed your email address, or if you address hasn't been confirmed since 28 Aug 2011, then we ask that you reconfirm your email to ensure everything's up to date.
I think the place where it reads "... or if you address ..." should be "... or if your address ..."
I'm completely sure the typist had typed the "r", but the keyboard was kidding him/her !!!!...

For some reason, I don't seem to get them - I think I do for articles, but I definitely don't for tips - and there is no check box in the settings to select or deselect them, unlike articles.
How do I know? I just checked a Tip I wrote yesterday, and there was a comment nine hours ago, that didn't come through as an email - all the other usual messages from CP have come through though. Interestingly, I notice that it is in the list of Notifications (of which I have 13,113 at present since I don't use them).
The only instant messaging I do involves my middle finger.

Is it possible for you to make the Comments section available for initial versions of Technical Blog submissions?
When a Blog entry appears in the moderation queue for the first time, the Comments section is not available. I assume that is a technical issue related to the way blogs are consumed, but it makes it difficult to get problems communicated to the author. Most of the time it is good enough to use one of the reporting options in the menu, but sometimes you just can't.
Take this one as an example: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/ArticleVersion.aspx?waid=99110&aid=674289[^]
It is a fine submission, but it is a repost of the authors previous submission here: RenderBody, RenderPage and RenderSection methods in MVC 3[^]. Since there is no "Repost" option on the reporting menu, I am not sure about the best way to handle it.

In Q/A If I want to Tag a member and this member get a notification. For example I know member X is good at something Y and I have a question and I want to notify him/her to answer. This way I can get this member attention. These members can be the VIP's.

Sounds like a very bad idea. Most people are happy to get pinged when someone responds to something they have posted on the site, but they would be less interested in unsolicited calls for help.

Damn straight!
I dunno about you, but I get a couple of hundred emails a day (after the spam filter has done it's bit) and the thought of that number increasing because somebody is attention seeking on their question is...unpleasant.

I'm with Richard - poor idea. Plus, have you considered the size of the list you would be picking from?
There are 10,169,108 members registered at this moment, and that can only increase...

+1 for the bad idea category.
We are here volunteering, the last thing I want is to have people "ping" me because I'm good at something, somebody will eventually get to it, we are all good at something. That is what makes a community site really good, there is always somebody else to fill in.

First, thanks for "Expert Mode"!
But...if you are working on an article, and tick the "work in progress" checkbox, the "Publish" button quite rightly turns into a "Save this version" button. Press that, and once the article is saved, it comes back as a "Publish" button, but with the checkbox still ticked. I think it should probably stay as "Save this version" until the checkbox is cleared, but I guess clearing the checkbox and reverting to "Publish" would work as well.
