Was wondering the same. Then assumed maybe Jeff's your real name and only Raja's allowed to call you that here or something.

Nah, that should go under the Self-Help menu.

@Chris Maunder
Was the article deleted because it promoted a commercial tool?

I think this[^] is what you're looking for.
Maybe it was deleted, because someone tried to take credit for work they didn't do themselves?

First time : the right one (text).
Second time : the uninvited one (html).
Not sure if this was just a one-off glitch or if it will repeat tomorrow. If so, I'll post again. For now this is just a FYI.

I got the Daily news this morning at 01:33.
Two copies both HTML.

Chris,
for info;
Further to my post earlier about receiving 2 copies of the daily news at 01:33 this morning, that was in fact 2 copies of the Newsletter (31/10 Happy Halloween).
However, I received the Daily News ("Useful Coding...") at 11:12, then received another 2 copies at 13:46. (total now 3)

Again, same root case as my scenario. I'll email you directly.

The Lounge is for non-programmng questions and the forums/questions & answers are for programming questions, but there is a gray area. This is what people usually post in the Lounge and say "not a programming question" but people are divided as to whether or not it actually is a programming question. Usually, they are asking an opinion (e.g., how do you usually comment your functions) to explore a subject in depth rather than get a single straightforward answer.
For this type of message, I recommend a new forum, "Shop Talk". Then again, this may just be opening a new can of worms.

I wouldn't call those shop talk forums. Those are places for people to get answers. Not places for people to seek truth.
*meditates*

My two bits: it wouldn't hurt if folks lightened up a bit about what goes where. It's a coding community. People want to talk about code. Go figure.
A good tactic IMHO is to gently educate/remind the poster -- "Questions about X really ought to go over here..." -- and move the conversation forward -- "...but a good solution is Y."
There is I think a problem where *questions* can be asked in the QA areas, but *discussion* doesn't have an obvious home. Non-questions get nuked in a hurry in the Q&A areas. The Lounge ought to be a good place for general code discussion, but you run the risk of being flayed alive depending on how you word your discussion-starter and the mood of the Lounge denizens.
Again, my Rx is to chill and converse.
