I have noticed a number of questions tagged with AS.net or AS.pnet in Q&A. When trying to correct them I did not find the tag ASP.NET in the dropdown list; has someone managed to delete it?

I edit the tags sometimes when they are clearly incorrect or bogus.
Just along for the ride.

Yes a new button to insert Blank Quote in message.
Source says:
While posting new messages(We have "Quote select text" button while replying others), want to show some text(Like referring some text from a link source) in Quote.
Example
Dr Tali Sharot, lead researcher, gave the example of the risk of cancer being set at 30%.
If the patient thought their risk was 40%, then at the end of the experiment they downgraded their own risk to about 31%, she said.

I can see a need for it in new message, just becasue it's easier then typing:

This would be nifty... I'll add my vote for this feature.
I usually just reply to a random message, click "Quote Selected Text", copy that, paste it into my real message, then modify it as necessary, but:
- That's a pain.
- The pasting logic is currently crap and mangles my messages.
I'll add that it would be nice if a dialog (e.g., jQuery UI dialog) opened and asked for 1) the header of the quote and 2) the body of the quote. And maybe have a checkbox next to each that says "HTML Encode?"

Finally took a look at my reputation out of curiosity.
Surprised to find points added for editing.
In some cases I've done multiple edits due to struggles with the CP code-formatter which has a problem, at random times in my experience, with the equals-right-arrow character group => in code blocks, as used in Linq.
Today was one of those times: I edited my reply to a C# question perhaps more than eight times trying to get the full code block not being truncated right after =>.
I'm sure I don't 'deserve' eight big honking rep points for that

Let's say you post an article and then later down the track you update it. You should get points for that. Also, if you update someone else's post you get points for that - why should you not get points for fixing up your own mistakes?

Yes, when generics used in code. This issue occurs in Q/A section & Tips/Tricks(Not sure about Articles, Blog Posts).
Example Code
public Table<persontable> Leader { get { return _leader; } }
But it displaying the below output after submitted.
public Table<persontable> Leader { get { return _leader; } }
</persontable>
See the live example here - new .NET ORM with arhitecture designed like SQL oriented[^].
If I encode the code(Generics-HTML tags) before submitting then its fine.

This is because the </persontable> was not encoded so the HTML parser thought it was an unclosed HTML tag

Fine. But a minor pending(Still old description there).
Spam and Abuse Watch forum description: This board allows members to report the accounts of spammers/abusers in order to give other members the chance to vote to close the spammer's/abuser's account. FTFY
Site Bugs / Suggestions forum description: Looking to report spam and other abuse? Try our Spam watch Spam and Abuse Watch forum. FTFY
That's all.

Hi Chris, May I answer the old unanswered questions in Q/A section? For example there is a lot of crystal reports questions(around 100 questions - Crystal reports[^] & Crystal[^] ) in Q/A section & I want to answer. May I go ahead?

Finally answered around 150 unanswered Crystal reports & SSRS questions. And will answer other unanswered questions whenever possible. Next will be HTML-CSS-Js questions. BTW someone down-voting my answers continuously within short intervals(found many -8s in Rep.History) & I suspect an user(You can spot him very well) about this, yes I found downvotes on other members solutions(where he posted his answers) at many questions
