I thank you all for the MVP status, but wondered when the points will be added.

Hey Dave, how do you get MVP status here? Do people vote for you? Congrats!!
|
|
|
|

It's down to active site participation. Write some good articles, help out in the forums, become a mentor or editor. It all adds up. The award is designed to recognise those who've helped out.

Thanks for explaining this to me. I always thought that you had to be recommended for MVP status by your peers like MS does it.

It's based on a secret calculation, but the more you participate on the site (posting articles/tips, answering questions, and just general site participation), the better your chances are of actually making it as MVP.
There are no peoples choice awards here, but I think there should be).

Dammit Marcus, you made me think of KFC ... *drool*

No, when Marcus said "Finger lickin' good" and I remembered that old KFC commercial.
This in turn made me drool.
Thus the need to move the keyboard and clean the mouse.
It's not so much fun if you have to explain it ....
BTW Henry are you taking your medicines

New (small yellow balloon) status shows for every message (inside My Messages), even if it is 6 months old and read 100 times.
Is it a bug or it works like that???
