When new posts are flagged thus, with the message Quote: This message has been flagged as potential spam and is awaiting moderation inserted as a plceholder.... all very well and good, but when it's in reply to another message, the OP still gets sent an email containing the potentially harmful or offensive message... perhaps these should be queued until the message has passed moderation, and deleted if not.

I can't find it at the moment, but I raised a similar issue some time ago. It relates to the "five second rule", where you can edit a forum reply "invisibly" if you are quick enough after posting it. The original version is emailed. This allows a form of abuse (which I must admit I have never seen or heard of).
Cheers,
Peter

A few minutes I had a weird thing happened where as I was in the process of clicking to cast a vote the mouse cursor shifted and I clicked the wrong number. Subsequently, I found that it is impossible to change that vote. Could that be changed? I would not be opposed to a time limit on making a change. I tried to change it as soon as I realized what I ended up voting for.

Simply refresh the page in your browser and re-vote. That should work.

It,s 11:58 according to my PC clock (which accords with all the other clocks in the house). But according to CodeProject it is nearly 13:00. I think something somewhere may be double counting the extra hour.

Suspiciously, 13749579, 13749580, 13749583, 13749585, and 13749586 are also from Slovenia.
Maybe it's a group of students on the same course, who all had the same homework question, and all decided to join and post at roughly the same time?

Does anyone know if 'The other site' has this homework problem? Or has codeproject become the default CompSci homework question site?

I don't know, but I suspect TOS would be much more aggressive at closing the type of homework questions we get here.

I'll give you the answer to this question only if you tell me why it is that I get the Soap Box 1.0 Group membership webpage when I try to access an individual Soap Box 1.0 members post from the "messages" list under that member's information webpage.

Well,
I've been here 15 years and I've never posted in the Soap Box or Back Room so I'm the wrong guy to ask.
That being said... I think you can change your 'Account Type' from Individual to Organization or Group. So whoever owns the account your looking at probably owns the 'Soap Box'. I tested this feature as a Beta Tester when the site was under development many years ago.
Best Wishes,

Too late too late (lyrically).
Behaviors are rampant here at CP. I don't think I ever posted anything anywhere for the first seven years of my fourteen years as a member.
Come to think of it, perhaps the idea of posting something as a question or an answer to a question shouldn't be allowed until you're at least seven years into your stint of observation.
That'd cure a lot a things here especially with the plethora of breadfans about.

Hi,
I apologize; But I am having trouble understanding your odd communication style. You seem to be dropping references to Metallica (breadfan) and Motorhead (Too late too late) songs. Unfortunately I don't really get what your saying.
The only thing I understand is your opinion: "Codeproject members should have an open account for a longer period of time before being allowed to post questions or answers."
I'm lost on the music references... sorry.
Best Wishes,
-David Delaune

Oh no, maybe not. I see two Groups BE and UE?
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

1-> When i am sending mail then error occurs like "Syntactically invalid EHLO argument(s)" using my company SMTP Like 'smtp.conver.com'.i found out the problem why not send mail becuase My host name using Underscore character (cs_DC_09).(solution by google).
2--> but My question is that " when i send mail using (gmail, outlook,Yahoo) SMTP configuration in c#" then succesfully send Mail.
3--> Both are a SMTP (My Company SMTP 'smtp.conver.com' and Gmail,Outlook) then why this 'smtp.conver.com' not send Mail and Gmail send.

Hi there. I see you're new to CodeProject so, first of all, welcome to CP; it's a great site with a lot of really great volunteers helping out. A little bit of advice for you, take a look at the forums that are available to you here and take the time to read the descriptions at the top of each forum (or the sticky at the top of the forum if it's available). By reading these, you can get a feel for whether that particular forum is a suitable one for your question. If we take a look at the description of this forum, we can see that it says:
"General discussions, site bug reports and suggestions about the site."
That should give you a hint that this forum isn't an appropriate one because this forum is for people reporting issues about, or making suggestions to improve CP.

As Pete says: wrong place.
Try here: Ask a Question[^]
But before you do, read this: Tales from the Evil Empire - Asking questions is a skill[^] - it won't solve your problem, but it will help you work out what information people who can't access your hard drive, see your screen, or read your mind might find useful in order to help you...

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

Works fine for me, FF 59 and Chrome 65 on Win7 (32). The hamstermeisters will want to know what browser etc you're suffering from.
