It would be nice if we get 'View thread' option in search page so we could just load that particular thread & there's no need to load all other threads.

Hi all. I have recently published an article and it contains some images. While creating/editing the article, I can still see the images, but after publishing the images are gone. Can someone please help?

@chris-maunder I was just reading this article How I Hacked Bitcoin Mining Pool [^] and I noticed that none of the images show up. I tried to view them individually and still shows nothing.
I was wondering if this is a poster mistake or is it perhaps a site bug? Can you please check to see if you can replicate this observation please. Thank you.

Happy to help, hope they can figure it out. Just for the record, I just clicked on the link you provided and the images (most of what I can see on a cursory look) are showing up, so might have been a glitch in the system or a temporary thing but hopefully they can check to confirm.

I'm not a site admin but such caching issues has happened in the past sometimes. When an article goes live it may take some time until the images are served.

Thanks everyone. Its resolved now. Might have been some glitch.

Of course, that makes perfect sense, but I just wanted to make sure they were aware just in case - since they were live for a bit, albeit not super long.

Now the account is closed. I hope not because of this minimal oversized Image.
Anyway if it is possible to apply an oversized Image, it is in the responsibility of cp to prevent this... and not allow members to kick members because of this

Don't jump to conclusion too fast.
It was a spammer. I noticed while reporting the account.

When an article is in moderation, does the author get email or other notification if the article is reported for example being incomplete?
If not, could this be possible. If the author would get immediate response upon reporting I think it, along possible comments, would help the author to understand why the article is remaining in queue.

Don't get me wrong, but this is a marlinspike ... right?

I've used marlin spike for knots, but I don't quite understand it in this context
