Only if it isn't called I18N. Sorry if this sounds like too much typing, but if I can type antidisestablishmentarianism (A26M if you must abbreviate it) others can surely type internationalisation. Also, international readers my not understand this abbreviation as they don't have sufficient cultural context (Heck! Even I didn't know what I18N meant until about 3 months ago)

I receive your news letter which I find it very interesting. However, all authors use apparently notepad to write ther projects without including instructions on how to implement ther tips and ideas. I suggets that each author takes into consideration the fact that not everybody knows everything.
I have just downloaded the demo code for "Building a custom ASP.NET Tabstrip Control" written by Doug Wilson, put it in the root of my IIS, called the prjpage.aspx from IE, nothing works
Thanks in advance for your help

Try reading the article in addition to just running code blindly without knowing what it does or how to deploy it. That's what the articles are there for - to explain the source. Not every article does a very good job of it, but that's the author's fault - not this site's.

How about a forum where no message body text is allowed. All replies must be one-liners and will fit in the subject. The idea is:
- Quick navigation of messages
- Faster loading of forums

I think that the post reply email subject lines shouldn't have the [CodeProject] thing in it. It makes my inbox look more clutterd.
It should just say Re: .......

oh, and we should be able to reply though our email.

But it makes the code project replies stand out from the Spam. Unless some spammers are going to start putting [CodeProject] in the subject line - now that would really irk me.

I've heard many, many opinions on what is good and bad about CodeProject, but that's a new one. I'll schedule a meeting with the others to discuss this.

good. Maybe you should make a poll for things like this. Like a special suggesions messageboard poll, that would be neat. You could see what the PEOPLE want.

I have another good idea. We should also be able to use this poll to vote people off the website. Like cancel their membership.
That would be cool.

No, that would be harrasment and elitism. We try very hard to foster an atmosphere of encouragement and community. Making people feel their access to our community is at the whim of a mouseclick is totally counter-productive.

Just wondering why is our email address even included in the reply notifications? In all honesty it doesn't bother me much but I do kinda hate direct replies because others are not able to learn from the answer if you do direct email. Just a thought

I really like having the mail being identified as being from CP. My spam filter is very simple, I only let messages through that come from a very small group of family and friends, or have a subject line that contains the [CodeProject] tag. Everything else is deleted before it hits my inbox. I would sure hate to have to get a pile of spam just to be able to get CP messages, or even stop getting CP messages altogether.
