Now this site color and design all are looking more nice than the earlier version. The Search option in each and every page in top most line of page is very good. If the search combox is having three options then that can be some more nice. For now it is having the options in combobox as "Articles" and "Authors". But if that combo box has one more option with "Message Boards" Then that can be very very good I hope.
I am not saying just it is very easy, means it is not adding one word ("Message Boards") to the combobox, It also needs some functionality. It may take some time. But this is jusy my suggistion only. Thanks for all the providers for providing this kind of very nice service using this Code Project.

I have a small problem with my profile.
I am listed as a bronze member even though I have over 2 years of membership and posted messages. Can anyone help me with this? I'd like to get to the next level.

Mircea

I better get started then. I've been meaning to write an article for some time but hadn't got the time. Hopefully I'll get a change next weekend.

Same here. I have a few articles in the pipeline just about ready to submit, but man, time is just one of those things I don't seem to have much of

I know how that feels. My other big problem is the internet connection. The only serious provider is not making any more contracts for another two months or so, because their setting up a fiber optic network in the whole city. So I'm stuck for the moment with dial-up, and the speed sucks big time. Usually around 5k. Not to mention the expensive phone bill

I'm using RSS Bandit, and the items in the Lounge RSS feed sometimes become right-aligned and italicized.
While I'm not completely sure, I believe it happens for all posts below Sarath's post. Maybe his sig is improperly formed.

Has there ever been any discussion as to having a unique view counter, well almost unique, based on the user viewing it. A Database space saver, would be to store a cookie on the author's browser and say, not increment the view, if it is them.

It would be nice if the articles listed would indicate the technology (C#, MFC, etc.)
CP has evolved from "Mostly MFC" to "lots of stuff", so article titles aren't as informative as they used to be. (I don't care about "Process Information in VB", but "in raw Win32" might be interesting to me)

Would it be possible to have an option to search top level posts?
Would make it much easier to find threads a few days back, and without the clutter created by many replies.

If you vote on a post and then return to it later it would be nice if it said "you voted 5" rather than displaying the option to vote again and they telling you that you cant vote twice.
