Actually, I'd prefer to see the delete of the head delete the entire thread instead. Most of those are just silly threads or flame wars unbecoming of this site.

I actually posted a message (query) in Soapbox and it was answered by another after sometime. When I wanted to post a reply to a part of his message but which does not befit the actual discussion thread, I had to edit the subject to say [Out Of Topic Discussion]. How about a link near 'Create New Message From This', so that it would be a fresh message thread.

In the message editor, it would be great, if there were KeyBoard Accelerators for B, I, < >, link tags right?
That would avoid expecting the user to jump between keyboard and mouse and focus on the message.

I'm concerned that these options are themselves being abused. I've noticed what I consider innocuous posts being removed. What is more disturbing is that I see specific posters being targeted. Tonight a completely harmless post in the Lounge was removed.
Is anyone else bothered by this?
My suggestion is that the option be removed or at least up the threshold so that it's not so easy to remove a post.

As far as I can see the whole voting thing is being abused.

There seems to be a group of people quick to rate a post a 1. I've noticed this a lot in the Lounge. However, even with a low rating, a post is still there for others to read and judge for themselves. Once a message is deleted, it's no longer available for the community to read and decide for themselves whatever merit it may have. This becomes increasingly frustrating when a message has several replies before it was deleted. Reading those replies, you have to guess as to the contents of the deleted message.
For obvious spam, e.g. "Visit my website," this isn't much of a problem. But my impression is that most deleted messages are not spam but rather messages that for whatever arbitrary reasons offend the voters.
I think the intentions behind "Report as Spam or Abuse" option are good, but I don't think it's working out to the benefit of the posting community here at Code Project.

True. We also have a Univoter Virus which keeps striking every now and then.
There is more a mis-use and ABuse than use. CP Team has to bring in more resilence to it.

Is it not checked by CP staff?
I would have guessed that everybody could mark a message as spam or abuse (which I also would change to at least 'Silver' members and higher), and only the CP staff is able to remove the message.

Hey Chris & Co, in the SoapBox,I tried to Select the text, and to click the Quote Selected Text it is not working.
But while doing that it says Done. But with Error in Page it says.?
What could be the Reason?
