It's the blatantly offensive comments such as "Offering a ham sandwich to a starving Muslim" and "[Is there] Intelligent life in India" I object to.
There is a world of difference between discussion and criticism on immigration, radicalised Islam, politics, religion etc. and those examples I gave above. The two are not in the slightest bit the same.

That's the kind of excuse the likes of Bernard Manning, Jim Davidson and Roy "Chubby" Brown used when they went on stage and talked about "Thieving Pakis" and "Stupid Blacks". Not in the slightest bit funny, and deeply offensive. You'll notice how the "someone" morphs into an entire race of people very easily.

It's also the 'kind of excuse' used by Aristophanes, Moliere, and G.B. Shaw when they were criticised for their outrageous (to someone) comedy.

I suggest to enable searching for members by Location to allow developers to get in contact with their civilians, colleague friends, find jobs , etc.

I do not want private info
Just searching by location to find all persons from my country
No more ...
I can easly know the location of every one while reading his article or message by clicking on his name, (e.g. you are from Canada) which means that this info is not secret
And few months ago you was enabling searching by member name
So, What is the problem in enabling searching by location

By the way, this discussion may be a sample of the implementation of my suggestion above.
The concept is:
Programming is one common thing among all CP's members
One more thing may be the location
I am not insesting on implementing my suggestion, I just explain my idea.

There's the Meetings and Get-Togethers[^] forum.
Ask for a get-together there and if people want to see you in the flesh, you can organize something locally.

For some countries, you might get thousands of pages. Many of those id's are either invalid, multiple, out-dated or abandoned. It's not that I think that a search by country, by date and activity wouldn't be good. But it also creates an opportunity for others to screw around with that information, if you know what I mean.
What I would do is bookmark those active members that have similar interests to yours and then create a thread on the meetings board if you'd like to organize something formal with them.
Personally, I have a list of people in my general area that I'd like to connect with at some point. No names, addresses, phone numbers or emails, just id's that I can contact and see what the response is.
