This side of the Atlantic, too. I was thinking that maybe there was a take-home midterm in a couple of the sub-continent's colleges.

Thank you Elina, it is better but not as quick as it once was. However, as a suggestion, rather than keeping CP members "in the dark", please consider placing a prominent notice on your front page as well as the Lounge that you are experiencing difficulties giving an approx time (Universal Time) when resolution of problem is expected, this way the members would understand.

Absolutely. Next time we plan an unexpected server issue we'll be sure to give plenty of advance notice
(Sometimes these things just happen and, as much as we monitor things, we're not aware until we get yelled at)

Just mark it off as abuse.

Chris,
You fixed it! The forums on the left are now highlighted when there are new entries! Thank you.

Hi,
It would be helpful to have a personal setting, which filters articles by their level (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced). An option 'Hide Beginner's Article' would be sufficed.
That would help to reduce the ever-increasing information quantity.
Cheers,
Jani

As you know according to recent changed it is required to leave a message if you are voting one or two for an article. While it is better than nothing, I think it will result in univoters voting three for an article. I suggest that it is required to leave a message for every vote. Well, except when voting 5
What do you think?

Bad idea.

You don't want someone to vote one for your article with a reason 'Bad Idea' do you? So why are you doing practically the same thing?

It's okay. It can still be abused by the one voters.

SQL and Database forum has been recently renamed to General Database but the change is not reflected in the top menu bar. Is this intentionally done for supporting legacy users?;)

This[^] article is displayed 3 times in the RSS.

Which feed? Can you send me a dump of the RSS XML (email it to chris at codeproject.com). I'm not actually seeing it in the feed at all.
Is it appearing 3 times in your reader? Or when you navigate to the feed directly with a browser? Or both?
cheers,

Hello,
Can we have an option to search article titles only?
|
|
|
|
|
We've added/removed that about a dozen times and finally settled on just "General Search".
Vote 1 if you want just "search title and content".
Vote 5 if you want "Option to allow searching just the Title"
