{edit}
I originally wrote this for VMWare workstation specifically, but it applies equally to Virtual PC and Virtual Box and whatever else is out there, particularly after the interest shown in this thread:
http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=2826882#xx2826882xx[^]
{/edit}
I suggest that someone at CodeProject contact VMWare and ask them to write a guest article for CodeProject about VMWare, specifically using VMWare virtual machines as the main development "box" for a developer and also the features that VMWare has that help with testing etc. It has a little known feature for integration with Visual Studio and I bet it would be useful to see a general article about specific challenges that can be met with virtual machines for developers.
A lot of developers here have no idea about VMWare and what makes it different than Virtual PC or the open source efforts out there or the different ways it can be applied for development.
Clearly, juding by the number of responses in this thread: http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=2826882#xx2826882xx[^] such an article would be hepful.
Also to add what I'd like to see (after reading through that thread) is info about the ideal host operating system and hardware for developers that want to develop only in virtual machines.

Why don't you write an article on it?

a) I don't have time
b) I don't make VMWare or represent them in any way
c) I think they could do a much better job; there are aspects of VMWare that integrate with Visual Studio that I've yet to use at all.
d) It would be useful for CodeProject to get VMWare involved as good PR and potential advertising revenue

I hear ya. I've got about 10-15 article ideas and not enough time to finish them all.

I agree. We see articles from other vendors come on board, why not just add them to the mix
I was thinking of just something that is a startup article, a basic how-to or something like that.

One at a time will do very well, thank you.

Cool, it seems to be a pretty popular subject if the size of this thread
http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=2826882#xx2826882xx[^]
is any indication. If they were to read through that thread first it would give them a perfect idea of points to address.

Can we have same editor like Article post in Message Forum. May be not all features, but at least all the Formatting icon ,smilyes should have in icon format in top of the editor like all other editor.
Along with that Can we have speel checker in Editor?
This is Just my Suggestion.

Looks like we need one. BTW, I use Firefox and it has an inbuilt spell checker.

Still deciding whether we need it or not. I'm open to being convinced.

The tabular display in the "Recent News" page appears to have been a teaser feature. The page has returned to its old format.

Sorry, my previous post (re: sortable columns) was referring to this[^] view. I mistakenly thought I'd seen this page when clicking a day-specific News link.

The tabular display in the "Recent News" page is nice (thanks!) but the table begs to be sortable.

I don't know if this is because I'm using my browser of if this behavior is intended but..
A few weeks back whenever I'd go into a forum (C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, whatever) I would have a list of forums on the top page. I loved this as it made navigation extremely easy.
Now it's gone, I don't know if I'm just missing out (making navigation unpleasant) or if it's a setting, I don't know.
Input? If you guys took it out, is it being considered for being put back? Or at least as an option per user?

Look at the left hand side of the page in the navigation menu
