I just tried to add a comment, and "it worked on my machine"
Do you have JavaScript disabled? There is a known issue with adding comments without JavaScript which has been fixed for the next update.

I am using Firefox and javascript is always enabled. After that i tried to add comment on some other QA and it was working fine.

Hey,
First of all let me say that i'm very happy with the comments on QA Anwsers. I think it's really great
However, I did find a (minor) bug with this. As soon as you click on a username of someone's comment you go to the wrong profile. For example: http://www.codeproject.com/Answers/79374/open-windows-calculator-from-wpf-application.aspx#answer1[^] If you click on niravsahayata here you will end up at my profile.
Sorry if this was already mentioned somewhere else! (I did look but didn't find anybody posting this)

For me, it took me to my profile. That means it takes you to your own profile. That's surely is a bug.

Yep that's is what i found too. It looks like, my answer div is my territory and thus the profile links would be mine!

Yep just verified that. We'll get it fixed asap.

Good to hear that

We need a media icon for those of us who have everything blocked at work and want to go back and find a media thread.

I usually email myself permalinks to those so I can check them when I get home.

Need a link to email me the link then.

Only six unanswered questions! I have uploaded image here[^].

Look at the filter criteria... its set to Silverlight... thus only 6!
But I never set that. An hour before or so, I searched for Silverlight articles. Is that the reason? If yes, then it again is a bug although a different one.
I guess it might be because articles, tip/tricks and Q/A are treated same (use same code?).
Yes might be. I too face this sudden filter criteria getting autoset at times, just couldn't find a specific workflow so never reported. I am not sure how/where from they come! (contrary to yours where it can be assumed that silverlight was searched so used!)

Now that makes much more sense. Well done!

Would it be possible to add Click to Copy button to PRE block?
Sweet!
The same could be used for all PRE blocks (in articles, in forum replies, etc.,).

Already used for articles. Would be quite nice in forum posts and such. There was some tool to copy code from the browser so that it didn't all get put on 1 line, but I forget what that is called. Would be very nice to just have that copy functionality for PRE blocks instead (would make answering questions easier).

Can do

Either I'm misunderstanding the workings of the QA boards or someone else is... So I just want to get things clear for myself:
The "Add an answer" button - is that for answering the question or to post a comment to the question "thread"?
As an example, please look at this question:
http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/78835/draw-image-over-background-image-on-panel.aspx[^]
Someone posted an answer to the question in question (so to speak), and the OP posted a followup comment to that answer as a new answer.
In my world, that seems wrong. Shouldn't he have posted the follow up question using the "Add comment" link for the supplied answer?
Or is he doing the right thing, and I'm wrong?
IF I'm right in my observation, maybe some clarification as to the button/link functionality is needed? Hey, even if I'm wrong, it seems like clarification is needed, because I might not be the only person puzzled by this.

I read it as ANSWER is to respond directly to the question, even if not replying to the question.
eg. Q: "How can i do this text in box?"
I would ANSWER : "Please clarify the question, do you mean put text into a text box?"
I would COMMENT : "you need to be more specific when asking questions, and if poss give an example of what you require and any code or attempts you have made to resolve this yourself."
