*I* honestly think so. There are very few tangible rewards for achieving a certain status here beyond "Oh look! You're status color has changed! That's gotta mean something!"

Agree with John. There should not be an upper limit on how many answers a user can post that will fetch him rep score points.

Nish, you almost never agree with me.
Just as I was looking outside my 3rd-story window to make sure I really saw a pig fly by, I got an email weather alert about 4-foot snow drifts appearing in Hell.

I just opted out of a newsletter, and my reputation history said this:
Newsletter opt-in Participant Mailout -50
Should that say "Newsletter opt-out"? Also, under the "Item" column, I'd go with the name of the newsletter rather than the generic term "Mailout". In this case, it would be "Mobile Newsletter".

I add an "undo" note on those events. The names are taken straight from the database so a better solution is, obviously, to have descriptions for both apply and undo, but for the sake of expediency I'll take the shortcut.

Some items in our system don't yet have the ability to self describe. The rep list is acutally just a list of memberIDs, event types, and object references. Once the list is filtered and sorted, we then use reflection to created the objects referenced in the list and get them to tell us who they are and what they are called. Comments also falls into this bucket, but I'll make sure they get fixed.

Same happens with answer down-voted and the same then up-voted (and probably vice-versa). The table still shows "Answer Downvoted".
The bad part is the figure -2 has changed to 2. Should it not be a 5?

When I bookmark something (say, a forum message), it would be nice if the "bookmark" link turned into an "unbookmark" link. I have accidentally bookmarked things on several occassions and it's a pain to try and find the message I just bookmarked in "My Bookmarks".

On the 'My Bookmarks' page there is a 'Delete' option to the right of each bookmark.

That is exactly what I don't like doing. Why not improve the UI so users don't have to work as hard?

Added to the tODO (#1937). We actually have a bunch of tasks related to the bookmark system to make it more user friendly.

Bookmarks are meant to make it easier to find again what you considered worthwhile.
Yes, you are right, such actions should have an undo capability, an easy one at best. Same for voting, and maybe also for approving an article (not sure, it has some heavy consequences right now).

Hi See This Link[^],
In this post am tried to edit for formatting of Xaml code (WPF) with different options(like aspnet, xml and default tag). I failed to set formating.
Here i getting (forum message). see below code.
<ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding Path=MainCol}" >
<ItemsControl.ItemTemplate>
<DataTemplate>
<TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Id}" ></TextBlock>
<TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Name}" ></TextBlock>
<!-- How to show Description and Amount here by looking up the Id value -->
</DataTemplate>
</ItemsControl.ItemTemplate>
</ItemsControl>
Why formatting is not applied in Q & A Section.? is this bug or else(my mistake)?
Regards,
Eswar

First, you have to uncheck the Ignore HTML checkbox. Then, you have to escape the pointy brackets manually. I've already done all that for you.

I asked a stupid smart-ass question a while back and it was deleted. My Enquirer points read -1 and my questions total was 0. A while after that I asked a relatively more intelligent question and my Enquirer points read 0 and my questions total was 1. OK - great...I'm fine with this.
~~ then the Recalc process.
Now my Enquirer points = 1 and my questions total = 0. When I go to view my questions I used to be able to see the one question I posted...it is now gone...it says that I have 0 questions posted.
Chris, I just knew that I wouldn't be able to go a whole day with out complaining about something.

Did you post it as a question in Quick Answers, or in the forums? I've checked and we only have the one question.
The recalc was read-only - it didn't modify any questions or messages or articles.

Something very wrong is going on here. I can't see your reply's to this post through accessing the site straight on. I only see the reply's when I follow the link in the notification e-mail that I received regarding this post.
Also, when I load this website FF tells me that it is connecting to s.codeproject.com, don't know if that makes a difference or not.
