Chris, in case you didn't already notice - there still are a few tip/tricks with the same problem. The approve button seems to be missing only from alternates, top level tip/tricks are OK.

I've recently written my first article on this website.
To my great content I got a couple of good votes (six 5's and four 4's I think).
More 5's than 4's and nothing lower than that anyway. Where I come from this would have an average of over 4.5.
On the CodeProject my average is 4.46... Still a very nice average, but not what I'd expect.
Is there anything I'm unaware of?
Not to make some shameless promotion for my article, but here it is:
Using Try... Catch..., Finally![^]
As you can see the average is not what it should be
It's an OO world.

Yep!
The basic idea is that when people show that they know what they are talking about, their reputation goes up.
When they vote something up (or down) it has a much bigger affect than the vote of someone who either is unknown, or who has shown themselves to talk rubbish!
Votes also affect your reputation to a lesser or greater extent: a High rep 5 can add 40 points to your rep, a Low rep 5 only a few.
This way malicious idiots can't ruin a hard-earned reputation too easily!

at least twice today. I updated my article early in the morning. After more than 10 hours I can still see previous versions of my article.

When posting a using IE8, I see the first icon slightly below the second. It would be nice if the heads were aligned at the neck.

Same place it currently is. I'm just saying that they should be aligned at the bottom on the middle.

But you don't think with your chin....
I think they need a LOT more smilies than they currently have...

I was hesitant to read beyond that part of your statement.

I think this icon should be replaced with a yellow circle with a question mark "inside" the circle instead of on top. It always looks like steam is rising from the brain to me.

That's because of the size of the icon. I didn't want to push it all the way up and disrupt the line spacing.

In multiple lines, the above + below still add up. Personally, I'd say the lines must be drawn here _. They go this far and no further. And I will make them pay for what they've done. Sorry, thought patterns collided.

But no-one would be able to read anything CSS, Fatboy or PompeyBoy3 posted.
Not a good idea.
